A retired soldier, who is fondly called “Baba Soldier” by his neighbours, at No. 13 Abeokuta Street, near Agege Stadium, Agege, Lagos, on 25th August 25, set himself ablaze.
It was gathered that tragedy took place in the man’s about 4.00 p.m., when a co-tenant noticed a fire burning in his room. A girl who saw Baba Soldier said, he drank kerosene and used the rest to wet his body before setting himself ablaze.
